Upaya Mengatasi Pencemaran Limbah Cair Rumah Tangga di Kawasan Pujasera Menggunakan Metode Bioremediasi

Abstract

The development of food courts among the community has an impact on increasing the amount of pollution that is discharged directly into the environment, the example is household liquid waste from the food court’s activities. If not treated, it can cause environmental damage and become a source of disease for living things in the vicinity. This study aims to determine the most effective way to deal with the household liquid waste using the bioremediation method. The research method in this article uses a literature review from 8 journals obtained from Google Scholar and then continues with an analysis of the best method. The results obtained were the use of a consortium of bacterial strains formula and a biofilter using water hyacinth and bioball media showed the most effective results in reducing pollutants in household liquid waste. However, these methods still require a lot of money so that further research is needed to find other effective methods that are affordable.
