Pengaruh Pemberian Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Alami Ekstrak Tauge (Phaseolus radiatus) dan Air Terhadap Pertumbuhan Akar Tanaman Daun Jinten (Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour)) dengan Metode Stek Batang

Abstract

Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour) is a species of the Lamiaceae family which was previously known as Coleus amboinicus, known by Indonesian people as cumin leaves. The Lamiaceae family has 200-300 species distributed in the tropics and sub-tropics, especially Africa and about 15 species are native plants in the Malesiana region. Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour) is a genus of Plectranthus which has long been used as medicine and food by various ethnic groups in Indonesia and other countries. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving natural ZPT from bean sprout water on root growth of Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour) cumin leaf stem cuttings and also treatment with which natural growth regulators resulted in optimal and effective growth in the growth of Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour) cumin leaf stem cuttings. The research method is an experimental type using a completely randomized design (CRD). There are two groups in this study, namely the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group used bean sprout extract (Phaseolus radiatus) and as a control treatment used water. Each treatment was repeated 6 times. The data obtained from the results of further research will be analyzed descriptively with an average (±) SD (Standard Deviation). Based on research that has been carried out on the effect of natural growth regulators (ZPT) of bean sprout water (Phaseolus radiatus) and water on the growth of cumin leaf plants Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour) using the stem cuttings method shows that the application of bean sprout water does not give significant results on root growth. stem cuttings of the cumin plant Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour).
